Hi, I'm Sarah, a somatic nervous system specialist, and it is such a joy to have you here.
I'm so glad you found this, especially today
If you are here with a headache right now, I am really glad you found this, and I hope you feel better very soon. There is a particular kind of misery in pain that stops you doing the things you want and need to do, that makes the whole day feel heavy and makes you feel quite alone in it. What you are feeling is real, and it makes complete sense.
So many headaches come from a nervous system under strain, holding on to tension it has not been able to release. EFT, gentle tapping on the body's calming points, is one of the kindest and most effective ways I know to help disperse that pain and settle your system. It is wonderful for headaches, and just as good for migraines. If you have never tried it before, I am so glad you are here.
With love,
Sarah x

EFT for headaches and migraines
Start with the short welcome video, where I show you how to use tapping for headaches and how to get the most from it. Then tap along with the practice whenever a headache or migraine begins, and come back to it as many times as you need.
1. Start here - how to use EFT for headaches
2. Tap along with me

How to get the most from it
- The moment a headache or migraine begins, come to the practice. If you cannot tap straight away, do it as soon as you can.
- Before you start, rate your pain from zero to ten, with ten the worst you can imagine. This helps you feel it easing.
- Be as specific as you can. Where is it, across your forehead, behind your eyes, at the back of your neck. Is it throbbing, stabbing, sharp. Tune into that exact feeling, because it helps the tapping work faster and more deeply.
- With a migraine, tune into the nausea or dizziness too, and tap as soon as you feel it coming on.
- Keep going through as many rounds as you need, until your rating comes right down, ideally to around two or below.
- The tapping keeps working after you finish, often for up to forty-eight hours, so give it a little time.
- If you live with chronic migraines, tapping first thing in the morning before you get up, and again through the day, tends to help most.

When the pain keeps coming back
A tool for the moment, and something deeper underneath
This practice can bring real relief when a headache strikes, and that matters so much on a hard day. And if your headaches or migraines keep returning, there is often something underneath them, a nervous system that has been braced and holding tension for a very long time.
→ Maybe the headaches come whenever life gets to be too much.
→ Maybe your body never fully lets go of the tension it is holding.
→ Maybe your mind will not switch off, even when you are exhausted.
→ Maybe you have tried so many things already, and started to wonder whether anything will really help.
It can. What you are feeling is not a flaw or a weakness. Underneath it all is a nervous system that learned to stay switched on, braced for the next thing, and was never shown the way back down. This practice is a beautiful place to begin. But your body was made to feel safe, and when it does, so much of that held tension can finally ease

Healing starts at the foundations
Tapping can ease the pain in the moment, and that is a real gift. But if you want relief that lasts, rather than a rescue you reach for again and again, that is where the deeper work begins. Where you stop fighting your body and start understanding it. This is where you move from tension, anxiety and overwhelm to:
★ A sense of safety you have not felt for years, that steady ground where you are no longer braced for the next thing
★ A body that holds less tension, so pain has less to build on
★ Sleeping more soundly, and knowing how to settle yourself when you wake
★ Understanding what is happening in your body, so it stops being frightening and starts making sense
★ Being present in your life again, truly there with the people you love

The Foundations of Regulation program
A compact and powerful program that brings safety and regulation back into your body. This tapping practice is one small doorway. This is the whole room. It is not another layer on top of everything you have already tried. It is the foundation underneath it, the piece so much healing work skips, which is exactly why so many people feel like nothing has ever quite stuck. They were building on ground that never felt safe.
→ Seven bite-sized lessons on how your nervous system works
→ Somatic circuit breakers to stop anxiety in the moment
→ Somatic practices to bring your body back to calm
→ EFT videos, a guided meditation and an evening wind-down tool
→ A guided learning journal
→ Access for the lifetime of the program
Top-down, where you understand what is really happening inside you. Bottom-up, where your body learns, through felt experience, that it is safe to soften.
